  REALLY recommend Langstone Manor Holiday Park as somewhere to stay with dogs. You can park next to your accommodation, the dogs are welcome all over the site, including the restaurant... read more and bar (but they also offer the entire menu as takeaway), lots of scenic walks walking distance from the site and the staff were very friendly and welcoming plus they had some lovely local ciders in reception and patisserie service in the morning.
The facilities were clean and modern, I loved that there was a clear option to recycle waste on site. Everything was just perfect.
And if anyone is wondering like I was if there was room for a double blow up bed in the large standard pods - plenty of room!
We will definitely be back.

The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, very well appointed and very comfortable for a family of six and a dog. The only comment/suggestion that the cottage was for six, so there were six bowls, plates, knives, forks etc. It would have been helpful to have more or each to allow for a bit of flexibility. This is a very small thing, but would make a difference

Langstone is superbly located on the edge of the moor, so we were able to walk straight from the front door. It also a short drive from local towns and shops.

We would definitely go back and would thoroughly recommend Langstone Manor.

My daughter always makes friends at the playpark so this is another feature a campsite always needs to have. The onsite restaurant is a massive plus; the food is homemade and truly scrumptious after long days of hiking. Every staff member is welcoming and helpful; they always look after us. Langstone is our favourite place, and we love exploring Dartmoor. We will be back again. More

There is a restaurant and bar on site, we had a lovely dinner and a few pints, as didn't have to worry about driving!!!!

The site does have WIFI but you have to pay for it. However if your going to take a break away from it all this is a great method to keep you off devices.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the area is beautiful with lots of things nearby to do with children - high ropes at Tamar Trails, River Dart Country park, the miniature pony centre, Exmoor Zoo. Clean and well looked after shower and toilets. Easy walks out to the moor. Walk out of an evening to see lovely sunsets and dark skies. Pewter Tor is very close and easy to get to. The Manor has a lovely restaurant, which lives up to its name Moor Food at Langston Manor. We eat at there 3 nights of our stay and could not fault the staff or the food. Lovely clean site, shower block, laundry room. We tried the restaurant on this holiday and only just made it before they were due to close. The staff were amazing! So friendly and nothing was too much trouble and our meals were great. The site is close to lots of places to visit, although we do tend to go where we can do lots of walking as we have two dogs. Even better, you only have to walk 5 minutes up the road to get onto the moors where you can walk for miles if you want to, so no need to even get in the car to go out. Lots of ponies, sheep and cattle and birds around. If you're lucky you can see hares in the gorse and foxes on the moors. It's just such a special place. More

The campsite was immaculate, toilet and shower facilities were spotless,. Staff were superb. The restaurant/Bar was great and had three evening meals and drinks that was reasonably priced.

Very clean, comfortable and so private within their individual spaces. The park itself is beautifully situated and kept to a high standard. The staff we met were freindly, helpful and fun. The food served in the restaurant was delicious and again the waiting and bar staff were so friendly and easy going. Very peaceful place to stay and only a 5 minute walk up to Pew Tor and Dartmoor. We will be back!

  We spent a week here during Covid pandemic in our motorhome. The site is over a mile off the main road along narrow roads but traffic is minimal and other... read more drivers are courteous. The site has pretty level grass and a few hard standing bays of god size. There are great views over the Devon countryside. Within 5 minutes walking you can be on Dartmoor and within 25min on top of Pewter Tor with fantastic views again.
The washing facilities were restricted to pod users so cannot comment on them. The surrounding area is very hilly so electric bikes are necessary unless you are a keen, strong cyclist.
We will return.

Staff were lovely and friendly and the food in the restaurant was very good and great portion size. Only reason I haven't given stars, is the games room was quite dated and the pool table needs some tlc, the showers are the push button style so you have to keep pushing it back on, although the facilities were lovely and clean, and it would be nice to have free WiFi (only pay options available).

There is also a restaurant which serves delicious food and good beer, and has a lovely sun room where you can watch the birds whilst the sun sets. There is plenty of wildlife around the site, including lots of birds and bats. All the facilities are well kept and clean, and there are lovely walks from the site, particularly to Pew Tor which has fantastic views from the top.

The site was clean and tidy without being overly manicured and I really enjoyed the wildlife information boards.
The staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming to all adults and dogs alike and the little provision shop with everything from milk to guided walks and freshly baked goods was good too.

Couldn't of wished for a better experience really. Its not a campsite we've been to before but one we look forward to returning too in the future.
