With this site being completed dog friendly made it a breeze to bring our dogs along with us for a wonderful weekend get away.

No task to big and we were always greeted with a smile (and the dogs a huge fuss which they obviously loved!).

Food was great on site, the facilities were excellent, always clean and fully stocked.

All the team members were super helpful.

Will definitely be coming back with the rest of my family.

All in all a very nice site and well worth a visit. Very happy to recommend to others.

The staff were first class and the site had all the amenities that you could ask for. I was surprised how clean they kept the toilets with so many people on site, never once was it dirty. Always a sign of a good site.
We eat once on site and the food was good value. The location so close to Dartmoor was prefect and the 15 mile map on the amenities block shows you how close you are to everything. Head up on to the moor and there is a fabulous ice cream van 5 mins away. Fingle bridge is highly recommended. In town we had two fabulous breakfasts, can’t remember the name ones in the market and another on the Main Street I will do reviews on both later.

The site is beautifully maintained. ... read more We love the croissant and bread collection in the morning - it feels as though we are on holiday in France! The staff are friendly and helpful and the area is beautiful with lots of things nearby to do with children - high ropes at Tamar Trails, River Dart Country park, the miniature pony centre, Exmoor Zoo. And lovely country pubs to eat out in. Will be back!

The shower room/toiler block was very clean every time I went no matter what time of the day. The location is awesome on the edge of Dartmoor and not far from Tavistock so you get the best of both worlds.

The only thing which went wrong was we went into the restaurant for a meal and they forgot our order. We had been there over an hour but too busy chatting to notice. By that time we didn’t want to wait any longer so just had some chips to take away which was a shame as the food looked amazing, and plenty of it. They were so apologetic and although I was disappointed it didn’t spoil anything.

We have always had a welcoming... read more stay and highly recommend as it’s in a lovely area and the facilities are always so well maintained. We don’t camp often at all but have stayed in tents as a couple before but having children this is a great option as the pods are heated, close to but not too close to the communal facilities. Love that we can drive up to the pod, use our cooking stuff or choose to eat in the restaurant/bar. You can get drinks from the shop to take back to your pod and it feels very safe. Easy to walk to Tavistock and then bus to Plymouth for a day trip or to elsewhere. We will be back later in the year!

  Nice and easy to find on the edge of Dartmoor - I used to live locally and was looking for a place to pitch up a tent to see folks... read more and get out and about all over beautiful Dartmoor.

I have a Tesla and the onsite hookup proved invaluable in keeping the car and fridge running. The hookup is 20A, the Tesla is 16A so there's plenty of headroom for other appliances.

The site is modern and clean, everything is easy to use, showers are warm and powerful, hand and hair dryer is provided. Men have three toilet cubicles and three showers (one with a toilet) along with four urinals and three sinks.

The kitchen area has hot water and several sinks, again modern, clean and easy to use. Tavistock is close by and there are plenty of shops Lidl, Morrisons and Tesco are practically next to each other on Plymouth Road and a Co-Op with parking is on Parkwood Road in the town.

My first day was very heavy rain and there was no pooling of water anywhere on the site (as an ex-farm boy, that was good to see) the only issue I had were the tractors running in the fields until around 02:30 - quite noisy and looked a bit like Close Encounters of the Third Kind! The second night I was so tired I slept through it. I spent most of my week walking Tors, an easy one is right next to the campsite, Pew Tor, a nice brisk half hour walk to the top from the site. Lots of beautiful places to see around Tavistock and Dartmoor.

If you bring an electric vehicle, make sure to bring a 16A "commando" connector (or a "commando" to 13A socket converter) the price of the electrical hookup is good value (unlike another chap who whined about only having a few lamps) there are a few charging points in the strangest of places, e.g. Postbridge - so don't fear the range, you'll be golden visiting this site and connecting up - for Tesla users on the way to Tavistock, go to the Lifton Supercharger on the way, it's very fast and convenient and not far out of your way.

We had pitch 21, a large triangular corner pitch, right against hedges, it was mainly hard standing but made up of stone clippings, so when we put up our awning the pegs went in easily. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome, and were even shown to our pitch, despite it being very close to reception. Speaking of reception, there is a small shop with essentials, but also a good selection of maps and guide books. The toilet block is amongst the cleanest we have ever seen, helped perhaps by some polite notices asking you to help other campers by using the supplied mops, squeegees, and loo brushes, but also by almost constant attention from the staff, so don’t be surprised if you end up discussing the Dartmoor weather with a toilet cleaner at 7.00am. Recycling is good with a range of bins provided, and rain water harvesting is also employed on the site. The area around the site is simply stunning. We had one walk into Tavistock, around 3 miles each way, the site provides a map, but there is one half decent hill on the way back. Tavistock is great to look around with its famous pannier market, and we extended our walk by walking as far as we could along the length of the Tavistock canal, a great wood land walk with some interesting canal engineering.
Our second walk was a 15 miler to Peter Tavy, then up onto the moor and ‘bagged’ half a dozen tors, a couple of stone circles and a row of standing stones before descending over the back of Merrivale Quary to grab a bite to eat in the Devon Arms on our way back to the site.
Overall, an immaculately kept, friendly, very clean site, with excellent facilities, nestled in some of the best countryside the UK has to offer. More

The pod was beautiful and clean considering it was a last minute change. We were nice and cosy me my fiance and our 5 month old baby. WiFi being extra was a bit irritating but I totally understand the concept and it does encourage you to switch off and get back to basics which is really what we needed. Shower block and loos were lovely and clean, basics being sold in the shop was a life saver and the fresh bread in the mornings was very welcome change to the usual weetabix! Food in the restaurant was great we dined in one night and took away the second as overtired child and both experiences were good.   REALLY recommend Langstone Manor Holiday Park as somewhere to stay with dogs. You can park next to your accommodation, the dogs are welcome all over the site, including the restaurant... read more and bar (but they also offer the entire menu as takeaway), lots of scenic walks walking distance from the site and the staff were very friendly and welcoming plus they had some lovely local ciders in reception and patisserie service in the morning.
The facilities were clean and modern, I loved that there was a clear option to recycle waste on site. Everything was just perfect.
And if anyone is wondering like I was if there was room for a double blow up bed in the large standard pods - plenty of room!
We will definitely be back.

The pods come with a heater inside so was nice and toasty, communal showers and toilets were extremely clean. Drinking water just outside the pod. Our friends used the private bathroom to bathe their baby which was ideal, this just requires a few pounds to put help towards the hot water. Freshly baked croissants, pain au choc and baguettes available to order up to 9pm for the next morning. Beautiful location, lovely and quiet. Tavistock town nearby is absolutely beautiful and only about a 10 minute drive away. We are already looking to book again for next year. More
